Disabling Image Links.

When you upload images into your blog, the images will have anchor tags by default. This means that the image contains a link and by clicking on it, a new window opens that only displays your image. But if you want to protect your graphics and keep anyone from copying them, it's very simple to disable this function by following the tutorial below

Start by uploading your image to blogger and then click on the "Edit HTML" tab. From there you'll need to highlight the codes similar to my example below and then hit backspace on your keyboard to delete them. (Ignore the squiggly red lines, that's from the spellchecker in my browser.) Also, if you're adding more than one image and you want to disable all links, you'll have to edit each image code individually.

Click on the example to enlarge.

When finished editing your html click on "Compose" and make sure to delete any code you might have left behind. Now publish and view your post then try clicking the image to see if it opens in a new window. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to drop me a comment below.

*Note*
This tut doesn't work if you're using a classic template so if you haven't switched over to the new template designer, what are you waiting for?

When light flows into darkness,

dying slowly comes the night

my nostalgic dreams plead the

stage with morbid thoughts

floating around in my head but

I can't unleash this attraction,

I've found no one who relates.

If tomorrow brings a new

epiphany alongside someone

else, would my opinions stay

the same? Still alone, the world

outside suffers, while my heart

griefs within, suppressing me

into a lonely seclusion. I can

not help but think, had I the

nerve to swallow your goddamn

poison, maybe then I could

believe. If only in a delusion or

maybe just a fantasy to help ease

the pain. No more mourning a lost

childhood, no more comfortless

nights. No more pretense for the

love that was shown. No more

boasting or praise to any malice
